VLSI Solution is categorized as Fabless Semiconductor Company meaning that we are outsourcing wafer manufacturing, packaging and test. Our manufacturing partners are locating in Europe and Asia.

For a new product, we design the geometrical GDSII database, send it to mask manufacturer, order the manufacturing masks, and order the silicon wafers.

At the time the wafers are manufactured, we prepare the marking and bonding documents. Also we design, manufacture and debug the loadboards and test programs for the production test of the device.

Once the wafers are ready from the silicon foundry we send them to assembly and test subcontractor where the final product takes its shape.

We keep tight control of the production flows end ensure that quality requirements are fulfilled even in case of multiple sourcing for high volume.

We act as one stop shop to our ASIC customers. We offer everything from prototyping of  ideas to volume production of the ASIC.
